My sister Amber turned 30 on Thursday and we decided to throw her a SURPRISE birthday party! After trying to decide on a location that would be a good location, we decided on the Cosmopolitan Hotel. We got this amazing wrap-around suite overlooking the fountains of Bellagio and the Eiffel tower at Paris. After weeks of planning and coming up with the perfect scheme the night was finally upon us! Setting up a party in a hotel is not the easiest thing to do. Not only did we just decide to do the party but we also decided to cook in the room. Overall it turned out to be a great surprise and she had no idea! THE DETAILS: We used the desk in the room for the Candy Bar. My sister loves CANDY! I made paper cones for people to walk around with while at party and had bags for TO GO candy bags. The room was equipped with a full kitchenette and my husband made all the food. We made all Amber’s favorite foods. For the photo booth we used the amazing strip view and a Polaroid cutout, as well as some quote chalkboards and prop cutouts I downloaded from ‘Oh Happy Day’. The cake was made by a friend of a friend and was her favorite cake ‘FunFetti.’
